I’m Cassie, the voice behind Rushing to Maybe.

I’m a freelance writer who loves to pen fiction. I live in Chicago, where I wear my natural hair curly and immerse myself in community service. I’m a lover of fashion, design, and all things Parisian. And most of all, I love to READ.

I’m a fan of Scandal and Being Mary Jane. And I really miss watching Girlfriends on television…so this blog is for my own entertainment and to fill that void.
I believe that manners matter. I’ve noticed that in our mad dash to accomplish, to achieve, to do, and to see, we sometimes forget to treat each other with kindness.
Rushing to the rescue!

Think of my blog as a place where you can discuss relationship matters, etiquette do’s and don’ts, and social mishaps. 

Etiquette Consultant Chanel Reynolds has lots to say about what it means to have style, class, and social graces. Although Chanel is a fictional character, and the situations she and her friends encounter are products of my imagination, she’s about as close to my alter ego as you can get.
Enjoy!

    Cassie,
I love it! What a great blog you have created. To God be the Glory! Fear is the killer of success–on every front. And you have reduced fear to ashes. I am so proud of you!!!
    Love,
